Cassette type Air conditioning units:
These are the most popular and cost effective solution to shop and restaurant air conditioning. They fit neatly into suspended ceilings and are very easy to maintain and service. Cassette type air conditioning units leave all of the wall space clear for stock, displays, and lighting. They are the most aesthetically pleasing of all the air conditioning units.
With our cassette systems, we can link up to 16 cassettes together on one remote control, rather than have many controllers spread around the premises. They are a very cost effective means of providing high performance cooling and heating (if a heat pump is incorpororated) systems, without the high cost of air distribution ductwork. One outdoor condensing unit can run a single cassette air controller (known as a single split system) or the condensing unit can supply a number of cassettes (know as a multi split system) can run muYou can run a single cassette from one outdoor condensing unit, which is know as a single split system.
Suspended air conditioning units:
Where ceiling voids are not available, we can install slim line suspended air conditioning units. We have a wide range of these units from a number of quality manufacturers such as Daikin, Toshiba, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Fujitsu and others.
These air conditioning units fit directly to the ceiling. They are lightweight, slim and extremely quiet. The swing louvres create a steady flow of air over a wide area, making it economical and effective. Because of their design, ceiling-suspended units can be installed quickly, simply and with minimal disruption. They are usually controlled with a remote controller and a long-life washable air filter can be included for easy maintenance.
Wall Mounted Air Conditioning Units:
This type of unit operates much in the same way as those listed above. They are quick to install and where multiple indoor units are required, they can be connected to a single external condenser box.
Like all the previous air conditioning units, a heat can be incorporated to provide heating as well as cooling. Also like the other units they can incorporate oscillating air vanes for dissipation of air, timers feature that will turn the unit on and off automatically. High efficiency air filters to remove odours and particles are often found in these units.
Floor Mounted Air Conditioning Units:
A floor mopunted air conditioning unit is best used when there is no ceiling void or no wall space to install any of the options discussed above.
They are slightly more expensive to buy than the other units above, but takes about as long to install. They appear a little like a radiator except it blows hot or cold air rather than using water.
Ducted Air Conditioning Systems
Ducted air conditioning is probably the quietest and most versatile of all air conditioning systems. A ducted system is often the most practical choice for larger areas requiring cooling, heating and air distribution which is likely to be beyond the reach of the units mentioned earlier.
This system is designed for areas with suspended or false ceilings. The discreet grilles can be located almost anywhere allowing them to blend in with interior décor. These grilles facilitate uniform temperature distribution and air flow to larger or partitioned areas.
Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or Variable refrigerant velocity (VRV):
VRV is a system developed and designed by Daikin Industries and means “variable refrigerant volume”. Daikin protected the term VRV so other manufacturers use the term VRF “variable refrigerant flow”. In principle they both work the same and are extremely efficient, reliable, energy saving ways to heat and cool all types of buildings with minimum installation time or disruption.
The volume or flow rate of refrigerant is accurately matched to the required heating or cooling loads thereby saving energy and providing more accurate control. They have one or more large condensing units which supply a multiple of indoor units.
VRF systems provide cooling and heating using refrigerant (R407C or R410A) as the working fluid. There are two basic types of VRF system — “cooling/heating-only” and “energy-recovery”.
The Cooling/heating-only can provide just cooling or, with the incorporation of a heat pump, they can provide cooling or heating to the building — but not both at the same time.
The energy-recovery system, can provide cooling and heating simultaneously, to different parts of the building. This feature has the potential to deliver maximum energy savings. Further, a heat-recovery system can transfer the heat extracted from those spaces requiring cooling to areas demanding heating — resulting in extremely high primary-energy ratios and low operating costs.
